What families ask us
Does my mom need to install anything or create an account?
No. She gets a link (on WhatsApp, for example), opens it, and she can start recording. No accounts, no passwords, no app stores.
Is it only for parents and grandparents?
Not at all. You can gift it to anyone: an aunt, a godfather, a lifelong friend.
What if they don't want to answer a question?
They can leave it for later — it comes back at the end — or skip it for good with one tap. It's okay not to want to tell something: the story is theirs.
Who can listen to their memories?
Only you. The invitation link is private and you can regenerate it anytime. The recordings belong to your family: they aren't shared or used for anything else.
Is the book printed or digital?
Digital: you receive a PDF laid out like a real book — cover, chapters, colophon — ready to print anywhere you like, at home or at a print shop. We don't ship a physical book to your door; hardcover printing from Vitalore will come later.
What languages does it work in?
English and Spanish today: you choose the language when creating the story, and their whole experience — questions, screen, and book — follows it.
What does “forever” mean? What if Vitalore ever shuts down?
It means you pay once and there are no fees: we never delete memories for inactivity or the passage of time. The book and the recordings can be downloaded whenever you want. And if the service ever had to close, we would give you at least 90 days' notice to download everything — it's in writing in the terms.
How long does a story take?
At their own pace. They can answer everything in one afternoon or one question a week. The link doesn't expire while the story is open.
